Graham Walker

Graham Walker – Director

Graham is an experienced Operations and HSE Professional, having held various management roles for upstream operators, including Talisman Energy, Shell, Centrica and Dana Petroleum. Graham has also held the role of oil and gas industry regulator with the UK Health and Safety Executive and held management roles in onshore heavy industry, including large scale power generation and oil terminals. Graham is a degree qualified Chartered Engineer, a systems practitioner, and holds an MBA in Oil and Gas Management.

Stephanie Walker

Stephanie Walker – Director

Stephanie has over 28 years upstream oil and gas industry experience in the North Sea and internationally. Stephanie held the position of Senior Inspector with the UK Health and Safety Executive and the Department of Energy and Climate Change. She has held senior and director level appointments with upstream operators, including Verus Petroleum, Dana Petroleum, Centrica Energy and Venture Production. Stephanie holds an Honours degree in Geology and Petroleum Geology from the University of Aberdeen, a Post Graduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and an MBA in Oil and Gas Management.


Bryan Cousland, Principal Consultant

Bryan Cousland – Principal Consultant

Bryan is a highly qualified, committed and passionate health and safety professional with 30 years’ experience in a wide range of industries, including the oil and gas industry.  He spent the last 14 years working as an HSE manager at BP.  Prior to that he was a Principal Inspector at the Health and Safety Executive.  He is expert in incident investigation, management system assurance and the human contribution. Adept at identifying opportunities to improve health and safety management systems and skilled at recognising the contribution that human behaviour and organisational safety culture make to the effective implementation of those systems. He provides practical solutions to health and safety challenges in both a personal and major accident context. Motivated by helping organisations become better at managing health and safety, in particular helping people understand human behaviour and how this influences safety outcomes.

Bryan holds a PhD and BSc(Hons) in Applied Microbiology. He also holds various Post Graduate Qualifications in Health and Safety Management, Environmental Management, Coaching and Psychology.
